Good news for Labour?

The Labour Party…remember them? They’re the ones who are meant to be doing the Opposition thing, but then with so much rampant big state socialism going on in Government right now, there really isn’t much for them to oppose.
Anyway, Coronavirus has stopped the local elections in May. And what a huge sigh of relief that has been for Keir Starmer, sorry, we mean the next Labour leader. Due to be anointed, sorry, we mean appointed on Saturday (4 April), the very first thing Keir Starmer, sorry, the next Labour leader, would have been dealing with would have been some truly awful election losses. Leaked to the BBC, Labour’s own predictions were just absolutely dire. And the last thing any new leader needs right at the start of their honeymoon period is some really shocking bad news.
Hang on, what about the Equalities and Human Rights Commission investigation into anti-Semitism in the Labour Party?
OK, we’ll re-word that previous line: the last thing any new leader needs right at the start of their honeymoon period is two really shocking pieces of bad news.
